The Department of Pharmacy Practice is situated in the second floor in the main KIMS Building. It involves itself in various activities relating to "Pharmaceutical Care" The main activities include Patient Counselling, Provision of Drug & Devices Information, Reporting and Monitoring of ADRs, (Adverse Drug Reactions), Poison information, Detection of Drug Interactions etc.

It also aims to promote Rational Drug Therapy and minimize treatment related costs where necessary.

The department has a well established Drug Information center with books and journals pertaining to various medical and allied health related subjects. The department has subscription to databases like IDIS, Micromedex etc.
