A pass in PUC (Science)/12th with 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology.

A pass in D.Pharm (ER.91) with 50% aggregate marks, eligible for admission to II B.Pharm. The minimum % of marks shall be 40% in case of students belonging to SC/ST/BT. Candidates admitted on the basis of PCM or PCB are required to study an additional subject of Introductory Biology or Introductory Mathematics as the case may be in I B.Pharm. Candidates taking direct admission to II B.Pharm have to study Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics in addition to II B.Pharm subjects.

The annual academic year for the year 2007 begins in 15^th October.

B.Pharmacy is a course spread over a period of four academic years.

Theory: 3 sessional examinations each of 30 marks is conducted during each academic year in each subject. Average marks of the best two sessional examinations shall be computed and added to the marks obtained in the annual examination.

Pratical : Three pratical sessional examinations evenly spread during each academic year shall be conducted. A total of 30 marks shall constitute the sessional award in pratical including regular practical, written records and viva voice. Average marks of the best of two sessional exmination shall be computed and added to the marks obtained in the annual examination.

Criteria for Pass:

1. Candidates who have Secured a minimum of 50% marks in the theory (including sessionals) and practical (including sessionals) separately in any subject or subjects shall be declared to have passed in that subjects.
2. Theory and Practical of a Particular subject are considered as individual subjects for the purpose of pass criteria.

Every candidate has to undergo practical training in the a pharmaceutical manufacturing house or approved hospital or CSIR Research labs for a period of 150 hours to be covered within two months any time after passing III B.Pharm or IV B.Pharm examination and submit two copies of training report to the Head of the Institution.
